I don't know about you but after preparing a wonderful home-cooked meal, the last thing I feel like doing is spending extra time scrubbing down the pots and pans. This is my favorite 'scrubby tool.' Especially if I'm fresh out of a good scratch free sponge.
Made from the plastic net tote bags that you get when you buy some produce in bulk. Oranges, tangerines, onions and potatoes to name a few. Cut the bag, scrunch up a huge rectangle of the netting and wrap a rubber band around the center to hold it together.

To make the scrubbing even easier, rinse the debris from your pan, pour in a little vinegar to cover the cooked-on food and let sit. After the vinegar has had a chance to do it's 'acidic thing' grab your home made scrubber and with a small amount of elbow grease, and drop of Dawn dish washing soap, your pan will be clean in no time.

Scrub, scrub, swish, swish... |

Here's looking at you, kid! |
I love finding ways to reuse items that I already have on hand. One less thing to put in my trash can.
