The "popcorn in a paper bag" really works. I doubled up the lunch-sack bags for a stronger popping container and have been reusing these same bags since I started using this method to make my evening snack. I am up to 16 uses and still going strong. After experimenting with the amount of kernels, the recommended 1/3 of a cup seems to work best. Adding more kernels does not yield more popped corn. Depending on the wattage in your microwave, you may need to play with the cooking times. Mine works perfect at 2 minutes, 15 seconds. I'd rather have some unpopped kernels than burned popcorn.
