On September 29, 2011, 9 a.m., we gathered in the conference room at the Dale County offices, in Ozark, Alabama. What a great time we had at the "3 R's: Living Green" work shop. Fifty people came to listen and watch and learn a couple of fun ways to green up their lives. We made laundry detergent, a compost bin and tote bags from t-shirts. I met some of the nicest folks and the audience members gave out some great new tips I can apply in my own 'living green' lifestyle.
